Manhattan has the capability of tracking any asset category. Each asset can have a unique identifier or serial number, location and associated cost center. The asset can be broken down into components which also may have unique attributes and are specific to that component or asset. Each asset can also be associated to space, organization or human resources records. The asset record automatically is associated with any work orders which come through the help desk for reactive maintenance or preventive maintenance tasks that reference the asset. This allows for tracking the history of the work done on the asset as well as providing a more thorough calculation of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of the assets. |
