New Manhattan Strategic Performance Management (SPM) Module
- Craig Gillespie, CEO, Manhattan Software
With strategic portfolio planning playing an increasingly vital role in managing change in today’s volatile corporate real estate market, Manhattan Software recently launched the groundbreaking Strategic Performance Management module designed to improve the speed and accuracy of the planning process.
The new automated modeling and forecasting tool is aimed at portfolio managers and analysts, both internal and external to an organization. It was developed to fill a major gap in the real estate software market for a dedicated strategy development application.
Designed to meet the growing needs of organizations for portfolio and workplace flexibility, Manhattan’s Strategic Performance Management (SPM) module provides a decision-making framework for portfolio analysis and performance. It also helps to ensure the development of real estate strategies based on a solid financial platform.
“In today’s volatile economy, this is an extremely important new tool for real estate analysts and managers who have to make major financial decisions,” said Craig Gillespie, Chief Executive Officer of Manhattan Software, Inc. “The market has defined the requirements for an application that can provide real estate strategic analytics which can easily integrate data from disparate systems. If ever there was an opportune time to launch the Manhattan Strategic Performance Management module, it is now in this changing economic climate.”
With more than 25 years of experience in developing innovative real estate technology, Manhattan has created a highly automated, cost-saving enterprise real estate planning platform that encompasses all aspects of the workplace, regardless of the underlying technology platform.
The Strategic Performance Management module makes the annual planning process easier, less time-consuming, and more accurate by bringing together data collected from different business units and operations systems into a single platform. This platform can then be utilized to project forward forecasts and actuals, as well as to compute variance analyses.
“Manhattan Software once again leads the IWMS world with its understanding of the need for aggressive adoption and exploration of business analytics which has led to competitive advantage amongst the world’s most successful companies,” said Altaf A. Jadavji, Senior Vice President, Sierra Systems.“With the implementation of Manhattan’s Strategic Performance Management module, real estate organizations can now use the tool to utilize all of the Manhattan data, as well as bring in what they need from disparate areas of the organization, to optimally plan and manage their property portfolios. They have a myriad of opportunities to choose the right locations, balance space supply with demand, and determine which properties to keep and which to jettison. This type of tool has never been made available to the real estate profession until SPM.”
Designed from the perspective of both owners and occupants, the new SPM module allows the average user to graphically view how their portfolio is performing. Users can execute supply-versus-demand analyses, perform multiple ‘what if’ scenarios, and produce automated rolling forecasts. The results of these plans can be weighted and prioritized depending on the organization’s business strategy.
With Manhattan’s Strategic Performance Management module, you can:
- Forecast asset performance including NOI, DCF and Asset Valuation.
- Streamline teamwork and collaborate with colleagues, contractors and clients.
