Manhattan Software Donates CenterStone CAFM Software to Pratt
- Nancy Johnson Sanquist, IFMA Fellow, VP of Marketing & Communications, Manhattan Software
Manhattan Software recently donated copies of its CenterStone computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software to Pratt Manhattan. The Facilities Management Masters of Science department at Pratt is one of the few Facilities Management graduate degree programs in the US. The mission of the school is to effectively prepare graduates as critical and creative thinkers to assume executive leadership responsibilities in the management of facility operations, projects and finances.
Harriet Markis, PE and Chair & Associate Professor of the Facilities Management program at Pratt noted, “By using CenterStone, our students will be able to understand the process of automating space planning and management, preventive and reactive maintenance, asset management and lease administration. These future FM leaders will be tasked to save millions of dollars in facility related operating costs, contribute to sustainability and make their own staffs more productive in the organizations they join. Using a state of the art CAFM solution like CenterStone will be essential to achieving those goals.” |
